As an original owner in Bethany Proper Townhomes I have had a 43 year relationship with the Wilgus Group who served four different functions: managing my rentals, handling maintenance services for my unit, as property manager of the BPTH Homeowners Association, and as insurance agent for my townhome liability insurance. I am especially dependent on Wilgus as I live in Texas and typically spend only two or three weeks a year in Bethany Beach.

I rate Wilgus 5 stars in all regards, and consistently over my entire 43 year experience. In fact I would rate Wilgus in the very top tier of all my experiences with all types of service providers. Wilgus has never attempted to promote or sell their services to me, makes no special offers or discounts or anything of the like. They simply are always there, always responsive to any question or problem, always effective and efficient in resolving problems, and always providing helpful guidance in understanding the rental market when setting rates.

I attribute this exceptional service to Wilgus being a close family run business with high personal standards of performance. They seem to treat both their customers and their staff as essential to their long term success rather than being sources of revenue to be exploited or expenses to be minimized.

My primary experience has been with the Wilgus Rental Office, where the low turnover rate and apparent loyalty of their staff results in exceptionally competent, friendly and responsive efforts by all I have dealt with. They treat me like family or better. Most of my interactions over many years have been with Crystal Dempsey, who never fails to exceed my expectations. She somehow finds time to take care of the many issues that arise, even with the intense demands on her during peak summer vacation weeks. On a scale of 1 to 10, I rate Crystal 15! Wilgus has a truly unique employee/asset in Crystal, and I hope they realize how positively her clients see her and depend on her.

Wilgus insurance agent Kelli Edick saved me over a $1,000 dollars by finding me a better, more coat-effective homeowners policy. I am retired on a fixed income so when I received the renewal notice for my homeowners insurance that was $1,500 higher than last year, I called Kelli. She was fantastic - friendly and efficient - and found me a new company for both my homeowners and auto. I am very thankful to Kelli - GREAT JOB!

Wilgus Associates has managed our Bethany Beach house rental for years. They are reliable, professional and very effective. Crystal and all the staff in the summer rental department have been a particular pleasure to work with. I am very appreciative of the great service they have provided. I highly recommend them
