I bought a $12 Hot Wheels Mario Kart toy (Princess Peach in B-Dasher) from Tidepool Games, and it broke within minutes. The head literally fell off during normal play. I went back the following morning (less than 24 hours later) to return or exchange it, but was told they don't accept returns and refused to exchange. There was no manager available and the owner supposedly wasn’t answering calls. They refused to do anything.

For a toy to break that quickly and for the store to take zero responsibility is unacceptable. They don’t stand behind what they sell, and there’s no real customer service. I posted this review as a warning to others. If something you buy is defective, you’re out of luck. I don't like posting reviews like this, but am really disappointed with the experience.

The location isn’t quite exact as shown on the map. It is on the boardwalk in front of where the pin is. The woman at the counter was very cool and helpful. They offer lots of top quality toys, not random plastic junk you might find at other toy stores. The shop is not “beach specific” there are lots of family games and art toys as well. They also carry Crazy Aaron putty which is a great adult toy for stress relief.

Amazing place to get gifts for children, and the staff are very kind and helpful! Would 100% recommend
