Pomodoro Pizzeria

Amazing NYC pizza! The crust was perfectly thin, great sauce, everything had a great flavor. I loved how snappy and lovely the owner was. She got us our pizza very quickly and was clear about how long it would take (10 minutes). We got mushroom, pepperoni, & a spinach, ricotta, tomato something. Everything was delicious & filled us up. We were very happy about it.

If you like NY style pizza this is arguably one of the best slices in the Delmarva region. It happens to be in a tourist spot so perhaps under-recognized. My kids always make sure we stop here on our trips to the shore (as Marylanders say) even if not visiting Bethany except for the pizza! We usually grab some slices or a pie and head around the corner to the benches if not too crowded and enjoy.

This place was highly recommended for their pizza by one of the nearby shop gals so, my husband is a pizza lover and we walked over to check it out.

They had pies ready and warm and you could buy by the slide or order a fresh-made pie to go. Not really a sit down-type place, this is grab and go.

They had a cooler with some awesome fresh and large salads to take with and we did buy one for the trip home for me to snack on later which was awesome. Very fresh, large, and loaded. Worth the price!
