Hotel Bethany Beach

What a gem! I was in town for a one-night stay, and found Hotel Bethany Beach online. The price was incredible and the location was perfect for my needs. Everything was up-to-date, clean, and lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful. My room was incredibly spacious and again, clean, light and bright. I was able to walk to dinner next door, to a CVS for some forgotten items, and had access to other restaurants by foot if I had chosen. I didn't get to experience the breakfast due to an early departure time, but look forward to visiting Bethany again soon and staying at this hotel again.

Loved this place!! The room was superbly clean and the colors were beachy, welcoming, and relaxing. You cannot beat the accommodations for the price. Besides the room and complimentary breakfast, we also got tickets for mini golf, 2 cocktails in our room, and beach umbrella and chair set up.

I've stayed here twice, a few years apart. The rooms are clean, and it's quiet, which is nice. But that's about it.

Things that matter:
--They no longer have daily turndown service. You dispose of your own linens.
--Parking is $10-$25 a night for no apparent reason
--There is a 15% "resort fee" tacked on every night, which blew up my vacation budget. This was particularly aggravating because none of the amenities advertised were open.
--They did not apply the 20% advertised discount for longer stays to my bill
--The breakfast is simple but good.

Things that don't matter:
--They advertise complimentary adult beverages and cookies when you arrive. Neither were here.

Beware of the junk fees.
