walked into the location next to pizza place. i was the only person in there and waiting a whole 3 minutes, the girl was on her phone and didn’t even look up or see i was there. so i left without getting anything.. every time i walk by the kids are on their phones and that’s fine but i expect when i walk in to get served right away.

Dickey's does a few things well, but service isn't one of them. Their product and their location make this a prime money printing operation, but I learned too mich about the boy who was serving custard (he is having girl issues - unrequited love), and the girl serving had a nasty attitude and couldn't be trusted to count cash properly. It's not a bad spot. But prepare to be unimpressed.

Better than Kohr's Frozen Custard! I had the small mocha almond fudge with a sugar cone and it was huge. Get a cup to help catch the ice cream before it melts away in the hot Delaware sun.
