Bethany Beach Books

One of my favorite book stores at the beach! I love taking a walk down the boardwalk and stopping by Bethany Beach Books. There’s a huge selection with clear sections including top sellers/charts, staff picks, a Taylor Swift area, local MD reads and all of the typical genres of books for adults, YA & children. They have lots of options for book merch including bookmarks, calendars, bags and more. When I went for St. Patrick’s Day weekend, if you wanted a surprise, you could choose a “Feeling Lucky?” book that gave a little bit of information but was wrapped, so it was essentially a blind date with a book! They also now have “The Book Drop”, a monthly subscription service grab bag! There’s signed books available and they often do author signing events. So many options for books, goodies & events - sign up for their email list for updates.

Just the loveliest book store I’ve ever been to. The cashier was very sweet and helpful and they have such a wide selection! Would love to visit again in the future.

Just discovered your bookstore, and wow—we're obsessed! The vibe was chill, the staff was super helpful, and the book selection? Absolutely on point! We spent what seemed like a lifetime browsing, fell in love with several local children’s books, and left with $200 of, what I’m sure will be, our new favorite reads. Thanks for being the highlight of our Bethany Beach adventure!
