Addy Sea Historic Oceanfront Inn

I was referred to Addy Sea by my realtor, David Ferris, and was very pleased. We had a wonderful stay. The rooms were delightful, the breakfasts were wonderful as was the lunch and the snacks in the afternoon. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The location was beautiful. I hope to return. My wife and I just recently enjoyed our first visit to Addy Sea. It greatly exceeded our expectations. It is truly a relaxing coastal atmosphere. The location is perfectly situated so you are able to easily walk into town and just steps to the beach. The accommodations were exceptionally clean. The added amenities including beach chairs and bikes, help to make your stay feel all inclusive. We enjoyed a suite in the guesthouse and were able to take advantage of the upper common room with fantastic ocean views. Each morning the was a different gourmet breakfast and in the afternoon a delicious dessert. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful, offering us ideas of things to do during our stay. The innkeeper went out of his way to help when we had car trouble and needed to get to a mechanic. We have already booked our next visit in the fall. You will need to plan ahead, as they are almost full for the coming summer season.

My husband and I came, mid-week with no reservations (which I don’t recommend) and we lucked out. The Addy Sea and innkeeper, Andrew took excellent care of us. We had a complimentary bottle of wine on arrival which we could enjoy in the many elegantly appointed spots throughout the property. Our room was superbly decorated and while not strictly speaking an ocean view we enjoyed the generous slice of ocean and the sound of waves. We were encouraged to enjoy the beach chairs and umbrellas and the bikes and were invited to enjoy these amenities even after having checked out. Breakfast was yummy and a great way to get the day started. We will make this an annual visit and will make sure to have reservations.
