Cultural Evening: The Eyes of Fort Miles

The Fort Miles observation towers were built to protect the Delaware Bay from German ships during World War II. They served as the "eyes" for the fort's artillery, and although no shots were fired in defense, they now stand as historic landmarks. This cultural evening is sponsored by the Bethany Beach Cultural and Historical Affairs Committee, an official committee of the Town of Bethany Beach.
